MARIA ELENA NAVEILLAN
Licenciada en Arte en la Universidad Católica de Chile, con mención en pintura. Ha tenido varias muestras colectivas y una individual. Su trabajo está centrado principalmente en el lenguaje de los símbolos y como éstos se relacionan a través de los medios de comunicación y de los hallazgos de distintas culturas milenarias. Le interesa por sobre todo la superposición de estos signos, que los maneja con veladuras y técnicas mixtas de grabado, lo cual la ha llevado en este último tiempo a incurrir también en el volumen.

Bachelors in Art from the Universidad Católica de Chile, major in painting. Has shown her work in both individual and group exhibitions. Her work is mainly focused on the language of symbols and how they relate through means of communication and findings of centuries-old cultures. Above all she is interested in superimposing these symbols using mixed media. As a result she has lately turned to experimenting with volume.


CAROLINA ROSSON
Licenciada en Artes, mención en grabado, Universidad de Playa Ancha, ha tenido varias muestras colectivas e individuales. Sus xilografías evocan rostros y personajes con sus imaginario interno, que sugieren sentimientos y lugares, paralizados en la memoria de pequeños momentos que estructuran y reflejan, la vida de un ser cotidiano.

Bachelors in Art, major in Engraving, Universidad de Playa Ancha, has shown her work in both individual and group exhibitions. Her woodcuts feature faces and characters with their internal images suggesting feelings and places, frozen in memories of brief moments that reflect and give structure to everyday life.


JOSE MARIA IBAÑEZ
Estudios en Artes, Universidad Finis Terrae, ha tenido varias muestras colectivas e individuales. Sus xilografías son como si todas las historias juntas pasaran en un ambiente frenético y móvil, personajes, acciones, lugares, y sólo quedaran registrados algunos gestos, las insinuaciones y los misterios, en los que cada espectador recibe el desafío de completar lo que allí se oculta.

Studied Art, Universidad Finis Terrae, has shown his work in both individual and group exhibitions. His woodcuts give the impression that all stories happen simultaneously in a frenzied and mobile atmosphere. He uses minimal gestures, hinting at characters, actions, and places, and challenges the viewer to imagine that which is concealed.
